Are permanent cosmetics right for you?

If you have sparse eyebrows, uneven and pale lips, or wear eyeliner everyday, this may be for you. It may not be appropriate for the person who desires to change their look occasionally, is contemplating facial reconstructive surgery, is a sun worshiper or tanning booth advocate, or has a chronic medical challenge.

How long does it take?

Although the length of the procedures may vary, as well as the number of visits required, most procedures generally take less than 1 ½ hours. You will be scheduled for at least one follow-up visit to do any touch-up work and to ensure your procedure meets your expectations. The follow up visit is complimentary if done within 8 weeks of initial visit.

Is it painful?

Although everyone’s pain sensitivity varies, the application of permanent makeup involves minor discomfort when topical anesthetics are used during the procedure. I use the manual method or hand tool, and there are no vibrations, machines, or loud noises.

Is it permanent?

Because color is implanted into the skin, permanent makeup is considered permanent; however, as with any tattoo, fading does occur. Although the effects of aging, surgeries and sun exposure may alter the pigment’s appearance over time, it is permanent. For this reason, “refresher” appointments may be appropriate every few years to keep your makeup looking its best.

Is it safe?

Permanent cosmetics are applied using the highest sanitation and sterilization standards available. Sterile, single use needles are used with every client.

What is permanent makeup?

Permanent makeup is cosmetic tattooing. Color is deposited just under the surface of the skin.

Should you go to the cheapest permanent makeup artist?

In this industry, higher cost most often equals higher quality. If you are shopping for goods, it makes sense to shop price. If you are unhappy with an item you purchase, you have not made a life long mistake because you can replace it. Buyers estimatehow long an item will be appropriate in their life, and base their price accordingly. With a procedure that is permanent, such as plastic surgery or permanent makeup, you cannot afford to go to the cheapest person when your looks are being changed forever. There are many things you should look for when finding a technician. Proper certified training is mandatory. Sterile equipment, sanitary practices and proper procedures in a professional facilityis a must. A technician should have certificates of continuing education and insurance. All of the above are essential and they all cost money, a lot of money.
